Circus #15 is UP and it's wonderful!
The 15th edition of the Circus of the Spineless has been posted at Words & Pictures. Many, many thanks to Roger Butterfield, who not only stepped up at the last minute to host this edition, but produced an elegant and beautiful post from the 15 contributors. Be sure to visit at: http://pinguicula.typepad.com/blog/2006/12/cots15.html and then drop Roger a kudo in comments or send him a note of thanks for his time and effort.
Meanwhile Paul Decelles is already booking space for the 16th edition at The Force That Through . . . Check out his call for entries here: http://theforcethat.blogspot.com/2006/12/call-for-submissions-circus-of.html
A secondary result of our dilemma was that we had another couple of folks volunteer to host future editions. So, after December you can look forward to volumes hosted at:
#17 The Voltage Gate
#18 Pharyngula
and #19 Burning Silo
Thanks again, very much, to Roger for this edition, and to all our future hosts. If you’d like to be a future host (April and beyond) please let me know.

Circus of the Spineless #15 slight delay
Hey Folks,
Our host for the November Circus of the Spineless has had to bail for personal reasons. Here's what i'd like to do. I'm going to extend the issue by a week, expecting it to go up December 7th. Please send all submissions to me at hurricanetg(at)hotmail.com
if someone would like to be the host with a week and a half to put it together please let me know -- i will forward all submissions. if more than one person would like to host -- i'll take the first for November and add the others to the queue. if no host steps up, i will gladly put together this issue to be sure it gets out. so please get me your nominations by let's say Dec 4th.
Thanks!
tony g

Circus of the Spineless #13
Never in my wildest imagination would i have conceived of a Circus decorated with tattoos of our favorite critters. It's a natural though, isn't it? Tattoos and Circuses. Lucky for us, Deep Sea News is on the cusp of that very creative edge. What a fantastic new Circus of the Spineless to begin our second year! Congrats for the fine work.

Sunbeams Does the Circus!
Somehow i failed to timely mention that the newest Circus of the Spineless is up. It's special because it's another rung up the ladder of excellence that every host seems to be climbing AND it's the completion of our first year. Congrats to Steve for a fine, fine issue! You can catch it at Sunbeams from Cucumbers.

Circus #11 has been posted . . .
And what gorgeous edition it is featuring screengrabs of each of the blogs! With succinct titles and links Roger has continued a Circus tradition by upping the ante for elegance of presentation. Be sure to visit at Words & Pictures.
And if that weren't enough he's created a Flickr companion Group -- you can check out Circus photos here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/spineless/.
Next month's completion of our First Full Year issue (!) will be hosted at Sunbeams from Cucumbers. Be sure to start readying your posts for a celebratory edition. And watch that blog for news from Steve about where and when to send your submissions.

Circus #10 is Up!
On short notice and likely with a barrage of last minute submissions David at Science and Sensibility has put together a fantastic tenth edition of the Circus of the Spineless featuring a cool graphic linked to the various taxonomic groups. The systematic grouping is a natural so to speak but his arrangement and narrative are well thought out and sensitive. All in all it's a wonderful issue for browsing and enjoying our little obsession. Congrats David on a great issue!
